Landlord lies in court, wins the case!

This little fairy tale is my life. Three months after getting married my wife and I returned to our apartment one night and found a hazardous smell pouring out of the furnace. Our landlord could not have cared less! She pretended to let us out of our lease, only to turn around months later and sue us for "missed rent payments" and totally ridiculous damages (to the tune of $3,500).

This woman is seriously the real-life Cruella Deville, even with the same nasty gray hair! You can tell she is a horrible person when you hear her laugh. Its a half cackle/ half scream that will haunt me for the rest of our lives. She has devoted her life, it seems, to making life miserable for us. Her antics have resulted in a debt of $3,500 that we have no way to pay. The deadline is June 4th. We are just starting out and this is FAR more money that we have been able to save so far. We're selling everything we can to pay this miserable person, but it isn't adding up.
