I am a single mom of two asthmetic children. My son’s asthma is so bad that he’s been in the hospital atleast once every year for the past 3 years. I know the house has alot to do with his asthma flare ups, and all I can do right now is “spring clean” once a week to help keep things at a minimum.

I live in a small, old house which is all I could afford when I got divorced. I thought I could do quick fix ups on the house, but I was wrong! I’ve done what I can but there is such major work that needs to be done that it will require me to hire professionals. Examples are:

Subflooring caving in
Wood damage due to termites
gutters falling down
Doctor says I need hardwood floor because of the kids asthma.
Bath tub bleeep don’t work without a wrench.
I could go on and on, and upon request I will give you detailed repairs needed.

The biggest one for me right now is when I turned my heater on the other day, it didn’t work! Apparently eveything needs to be replaced with it:(

I figured that if I get donations I’ll just start taking one repair on at a time, with the more important ones first.

I would like to say “Thank You” in advance, this will mean the world to me. It hurts that I can’t provide a safe enough environment for my children. I’ve never asked for help and the guilt just writing this is killing me. I believe what comes around goes around and I will be on a campaign as soon as I get on my feet to help anyone I possibly can! This I promise!
